There was a time in a city, when the dwellers lived to please God, they were consecrated for God and burning for God.
Soul winning was their anthem. They loved to see souls being won for Christ.
They fell in love with fasting.
They fell in love with praising God.
They helped others and genuine godly love was well-shown among them.
Their children were eager to carry chairs and speakers to the village square for crusades. They were happy and excited seeing the work and kingdom of God growing.
Their old ones never stopped paying for their tithes and offering.
Their adults both men and women gave alms and served God diligently. Their youth as well were not left behind. They took GOD’S service seriously as their business but suddenly, all these gradually stopped. Everyone became busy.
Everyone misplaced priorities suddenly.
They no longer cared if God was happy with or not.
All they cared about was their lives. What could have happened?
Their prayer life gradually came down.
Their bible became dusty.
The question is, ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE NOT THAT CITY??? That was once known for the things of God but now is all about her own life.
Have you left the work of God unhandled? Are you still concerned about the kingdom business?
This is the time to go back to our first love for Christ. Our first love for his work.
