SUMMARY OF THE OUTREACH
We embarked on April’s outreach on Monday, 21st April 2025 with a team of 8 people at Eruwa Ọ̀yọ́ state. Our visit was to Pastor Benjamin Adékọ́lá of Christ Apostolic Church, Victorious Land, Eruwa.
Pastor Benjamin has been a labourer in the kingdom since 1989 under the Christ Apostolic Church, together with his wife.
He was pastoring a branch in another town before he was transferred to Eruwa to plant a new church (branch). Aside from pastoring, he said, they also do village outreaches in the remote areas of the town, but this has stopped for a while because of insufficient funding. In those outreaches, they assist the villagers with materials like clothes, mats, and mattresses after preaching to them.
He admitted that being in full-time ministry has not been a smooth road. Sometimes, eating a decent meal is a struggle, yet, they are content with whatever God provides for them. They have been living off the little trade of his wife and the goodwill of the brethren.
“Whoever follows Jesus has everything,” his wife, Oluṣade, responded to the question of how she has been supporting her husband in ministry.
His only prayer request is that God should uphold him till the end.
FAMILY WELFARE SUPPORT
Before we left, we presented our token of support to the missionary and his family and his ministry, which included a hamper, a medium-sized bag of rice and other food items,
MINISTRY SUPPORT
We also gave the pastor a drum set, and a public address system for the church.
God alone be glorified!
